Snail comic 8

This is my second comic i actually put some effort in (and also pretty much all I drew for 2 months).

It is the story of a forest snail who dreams of the presumed glamour of city life and abandons his humble lifestyle.
But there he has numerous surprises, rising from plain unpleasant to nightmarish. The city snail society is highly complicated and the poor peasant snail must obtain certificates and do hard labour to be let to live his dream.
But it's all for nothing since he gets one hell of a butt-kick in the end...

This was actually inspired by my trying to get my drivers' license... Lots of sitting in line, papers, time wasted and a very nasty exam on top.
Now, i'm not against having to take an exam for the darn license - it's fair - but the whole affair is a really unpleasant...
